I presently freelance in the surrounding Orlando film industry as a production assistant, keeping myself busy in between jobs as a Producer and 1st Assistant Director of short films. I have worked professionally as a Key P.A./P.A.on feature-length motion pictures, commercials, episodic television, and industrials (with such companies as Dunkin’ Donuts, VH1, Red Lobster, and Nickelodeon). I aspire to Coordinate, UPM, and Produce. In the meantime, I will blog about the sometimes ridiculous, and often hilarious situations I find myself in, when working in the film business and living life in general.
In addition to production work, I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Central Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Literature, with minors in Film Production Management, Cinema Studies, and Women’s Studies. I also volunteer weekly with the Young Women’s Leaders Program (YWLP), a mentoring program for at risk 7th grade girls. I also enjoy reading American literature, engaging in problem-solving, being vegetarian and exploring nature.
I reside in Orlando, Florida with my boyfriend Steve and our dog Pebbles.
